"I would just like to say thanks to your receptionists (who always seem to get a bad press) for being so polite and helpful over the last three or four weeks when I've been making appointments for my son. Also to the nurses and doctors who have been dealing with him. Your help and accommodation is much appreciated. Thanks again. "

Response:

Thank You.  You comments are much appreciated.  We strive to offer our patients a good service and it's nice to be told that we are achieving this.

We wish your son a speedy recovery.

"Bring back Saturday Morning Surgery and take some pressure off the hospital and patients travelling 9 miles".

Response:

Due to a shortage of GP's in deprived areas such as Caerau, it would be impossible to off a service more than 5 days a week.

 Comment (11.6.13):

"It would be nice to have a woman doctor to do smear tests or bring back Viv".

Response:

One of our new nurses will shortly be training to be a smear taker, also Karen Smith still does smears if needed - please ask one of the receptionists, who will arrange an appointment.  We never have enough doctor appointments to meet demand, so we don't use doctor appointments for smears, as they can be done by a nurse.

"Please can you ensure that when I don't want all my items on repeat that they don't all get issued anyway".

Response:

We apologise for this, we are working with the LHB to reduce medicine waste and this should not happen again.
